I JUST FALL IN LOVE AGAIN

“For I know what I have planned for you”, says the Lord, “I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you …. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope …”

The last verse of this passage was what served as a challenge to me before I finally decided to agree and say “YES” to this upcoming event of my life. This event will happen this coming November 28, 2014.

Dreamin ….. I must be dreamin …. (From the song I Just Fall in Love Again)

I could not imagine myself that at the age of 53 may pasabog pa pala si Lord sa akin, na ako mismo ay di makapaniwala sa revelation Niya. “Mag-aasawa ka  ....... si __________ ang magiging asawa mo! Yun lang, wala na.”

I replied, “No!” “Ayoko!” “Magka-away kami ‘nun, very complicated”

Totoo ba kaya ang narinig ko? Sinarili ko ‘yun and months passed ....... but patindi ng patindi sa puso ko ang “obedience is better than sacrifice. “ Walang PEACE sa puso ko and I began to struggle every day I cried at ayaw kong tanggapin ...... I said Ok na ang buhay ko ..... settled na ako ...... me and my children have plans. 

But then the will of God prevailed...

To cut the story short, nagkausap kami. Antipolo was the first place where we had a talk about this matter. Pinagusapan naming kasi as I found out later may revelation din pala si Lord sa kanya.

We decided to give a try and obey God, even if we knew that hindi ‘yun magiging madali ...... and truth of the matter is dumaan kami sa matinik na daan dahil maraming nagtaka, nagtanong at tumutol ...... Bakit?.... Bakit?..... AT WALANG KATAPUSANG BAKIT????



God is all-knowing ....... alam Niya kung ano ang makabubuti sa akin. In my 28 years of being a Christian, isa sa mga natutunan ko is to obey Him and trust Him, because He has plans that will give me a future filled with hope. At pinanghawakan ko‘yun. Maybe for me, it was not the perfect time. I would have preferred it sometime earlier. Sana noon pa ..... but who am I to question the wisdom of God? Kung ilang taon pa ang ilalagi ko dito sa mundo, alam ko, magiging masaya ako at ang buhay ko ay magiging punong-puno ng pag-asa.

Kaya sa mga ladies na naghihintay ng kanilang “Prince Charming”, huwag ninyong unahan si Lord, at sa mga ladies naman na “lampas na sa kalendaryo”, do not give up, patuloy parin kayong  umasa that someday may revelation din darating si God para sa inyo.

MY HEART BEATS FAST ...... MY EYES BEGIN TO SMILE ...... THOSE WERE SLEEPLESS NIGHTS THINKING ABOUT YOU ....... AND NOTHING REALLY MATTERS ........ THE REASON ........ I JUST FALL IN LOVE AGAIN.

By the way ....... the lucky guy  ........ THE DASHING, DEBONNAIRE (sabi niya) ha!ha!ha! (at walang kokontra) is none other than PASTOR JOHANNES V. CABAL ......my sweetheart!
